Where can I download Avaya IP Office Manager for Release 9 and above?

This download is for IP Office version 9 and above only. If you're not sure which version you're using, check your system documentation.

Before downloading & installing IP Office Manager for IP Office 9check the PDF file that your PC meets our specifications.

Other requirements to check before installing IP Office Manager

a. Internet Explorer must be the PC's default browser

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools and select Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Programs Tab.
  4. Ensure the default browser settings are correct.

b. Ensure the PC has full admin rights

  1. Click Start and right click over Computer or My Computer.
  2. Select and click Manage.
  3. Drop down Local Users and Groups.
  4. Drop down Groups.
  5. Drop down Administrators.
  6. You should see the Account you have used to log onto the PC with in the list.

    If the Account doesn't appear or you can't get to this Section, then the Account you are using is a User Account and not an Administrator Account. If this is the case, you must log off as a User and log back on to the PC as an Administrator before you start the installation of IP Office Manager.

c. Ensure the PC operating service is compatible with IP Office Manager

  1. Click Start and right click over Computer or My Computer.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. It will open a new window and show you the operating system of the PC.
  4. Check this against our PC specifications.

d. The installation includes Microsoft .NET version 2 (if not already installed on the PC).

  • If Mircosoft.NET version 2 or a version above, is already installed on the PC, the installation will bypass installing a version and continue with the installation of the IP Office Manager application.
  • If your PC needs Mircosoft.NET version 2 it will be automatically installed. This won't take long and may require system and/or service restarts. Once complete the IP Office Manager installation may need to be restarted.


Installing IP Office Manager

The following download is compatible with IP Office 9 and above only.

  3. Double Click on the setup.exe file.

  4. Select the language you wish the installer to use from the drop down list and click OK.

    Note: this is the language selection for the installer, and not the IP Office Manager application.
  5. The installer will now check the PC for any previous versions of the software. If located, you will be given the option to upgrade to the current version.
  6. Assuming no previous versions of the applications are found, the installation wizard will appear. Click Next.
  7. The default installation location is displayed. Click Next.
  8. Select the programme elements to install (it is recommended to install the System Monitor, Manager and System Status Application.  The Call Status will always have a red X next to it).  Click Next.
  9. Click Install.
  10. Once the installation is complete, click the Finish button.

    To launch the IP Office Admin Suite immediately, before closing the installation wizard, tick the Launch IP Office Admin Suite check box.


Creating a Desktop shortcut for IP Office Manager

  1. Click on Start and then Programs or All Programs (depending on your version of Windows).
  2. Click on the IP Office folder.
  3. Right click on the Manager application and select Send to and select Desktop (create shortcut). 
  4. An IP Office Manager Shortcut icon will now appear on your PC's desktop.
  5. Double clicking this icon will open IP Office Manager application.
