Troubleshoot email setup on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch

If you're unable to set up email on your device try the following.

  • Double-check your username and password are typed correctly.

  • If you added incoming and outgoing server settings, double-check you typed the names correctly. If you're not sure of the settings for your email, contact your email provider.

  • Try accessing your email from another computer or device.
